Our daughter Riley was born at the end of the summer of 2025 through surrogacy. She was born at 39 weeks with perfect health and the loudest first cry. The moment she was placed on a radiant warmer, she immediately grabbed our fingers and hearts💕! That's how we knew she's the LOVE of our lives!

At just four months old, she already shines with a strong personality. Bright-eyed, curious, and remarkably alert, she shows an intelligence that surprises us every day. She loves stretching to Celine Dion’s Power of the Dream, babbling away with Grandma Li, giggling at her favorite toys, tracking Papa Steven’s every move, and “reading” picture books with Daddy Justin (especially those filled with baby faces). She knows exactly how to win us over, flashing her irresistible smiles when she wants to be scooped up. And when exhausted or hangry, she also makes her feelings crystal clear with her unmistakable cries. 

Justin's mom enjoys taking care of everyone, making sure they are fed and properly dressed to the weather. She is the kind of person who always puts everybody else before herself. She is your go-to person when someone is facing difficulties and needs help, family or friends. Her strong work ethic and loving personality make her the perfect role model for Justin. 

She enjoys cooking, gardening, watching TV, and playing poker with Justin's dad and Steven's parents. 

Steven's mom retired from National Grid as a chemist 10 years ago. She loves traveling and photography. 

She also loves handcrafting and knitting. She knitted all of Steven's sweaters and cashmere when he grew up.  The sweaters usually took months to complete but they were also well-tailored and warm to the heart.

Steven's mom is an amazing cook! She always knows how to make the perfect dish and let the ingredients shine.
